I awake to the sounds of screams, my heart is racing. And I am soaring wet from sweat, the sounds of the voice is a strange one to my ears. But the sounds of the screams are not what concerns me. What is the cause of these sounds and screams. That’s what concerns me. The feeling of fear now makes me shaking because surely I am alone. I feel alone, there is no one to say everything is fine. With no other choice I stand straight to the wall. Insisting of being strong during this time of weakness. I await the cause of the screams. When suddenly there is a voice that says my name. What is that, who is that? I ask despite for the comfort that this voice was giving to me. Take my hand and let me show you who I am.

My name is Willie Tart, I am a 38 years old black male, 6”5”, 192 lbs, I workout 3 to 4 times a week. I love to read and write, I am also a sports Fan. I write short stories from time to time and I have been on death row for 16 years now. Over the years I have slowly lost about 90% of my family and friends. And now I am seeking comfort through a true friendship with anyone out there who wish to become friends with me.
