This was his pen friend request:

Dear Reader:

Hello! My name is Larry Donell Davis, # 999316. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this, thank you very much.

To let you know a little about myself:

I am open minded, I am also the kind of person that loves to be creative and of course I love drawing as well as the arts in general. My favorite things to draw are thoughts of heaven. I have never had my art on display, but I am hoping and just maybe if you’re reading this, and find my art interesting, you might know someone that would like to exhibit my works.

At the moment I am in the process of taking verse’s from my bible and turning them into drawings. I am not really good at speaking, so I turn to my art and speak within it. Maybe if you’re reading this you might know how to fully help me say what I have to say to society through my art. Or if you would just like to get to know me, then please write.

"If I exist"
 Sometimes I feel I'm all alone
In a world and there's no place to call my home
Even wondering if the tear is real that's in my eye
And yet there's no one that cares why I cry
If I exist please! help me understand the very reason
Or am I like the winter that comes in it's own season
tossed to and from where there is no end
In a world alone searching for a caring friend
To tell me that I exist and that I'm very much real
Or am I dreaming of someone else and the way they feel
So if I exist please be my friend and don't pass me by
That way I may know I exist and even the reason why.
