Dear friends,

Please allow me to introduce myself... My name is Jose Medellin. I’m currently incarcerated on Texas Death Row. True my plight is quite difficult venture to endure. But one has no wish to concern you with legal matters within one’s case.

However, at this time my sincere endeavor is to search to obtain a true and dear friendship with a mature person of understanding. One whom is kind and that could trust...and most of all a person who is capable of extending their fellowship with a friend during each and every aspect of life, wether good or bad.

Unfortunately I am limited of support form family and friends and I also have the limited pleasure of receiving letters... which is something truly needed while being in my current situation. Yet, totally understand how difficult it is while enclosed within a system, where death is certainly a possibility...

Through the love of friendship hope can be given.We know that the power of love can change the world, and this love (unconditional) is some thing we all would like to have. And despite my current situation I would like to receive.

Now it would be remiss of me not to share a little bit about myself: I am 32 years old. My interest are reading, sports, being outdoors and etc... And as far as music is concerned I’m inclined to listen to a variety of styles, depending on the mood one finds himself in.

I stand 5‘6‘‘ weighing 175 lbs. I do consider myself to be an open minded person who is very kind, trustworthy, honest, understanding and caring towards friends.

Well, I don’t care what age or race any given person may be, because it’s about what’s on the inside of a person that matters to me. So I would like to thank whomever for reading my request for a penfriend. So if it’s within your heart may we journey forth with hope and arrive at the same place of great destiny that will bring us the happiness we desire.
